We are proud to carry on a 20+ year tradition of providing sales and marketing services to:
Independent, Certified Organic Family Farmers.
Back in the early 80's, before 'organic' was a household word, we believed in organic food production. Now, 'organic' is in the news, in the mainstream, and on the Supermarket shelves. All the while, it's been the Family Farmers and those that have supported them through the years that have kept the dream alive. We salute the Farmers' efforts by offering fair, honest representation in the ever expanding marketplace. Let us help you build relationships that are sustainable for years to come.

Working together with Farmers makes good work for all of us!
Ever thought of how many jobs are created by Farmers' endeavors? We like to remember all of the 'links in the produce chain' that are sustained along the way by the Farmers' efforts at growing our food:
Food production makes for a lot of good jobs from field to fork. Imagine how many hands it takes from start to finish:
First off, the Farmers must organize the initial planning stages of their crops (gambling), and then manage the labor intensive tasks of tilling & discing, planning & planting, watering & weeding; as well as field fertility & pest control.
Add to this, in order for a Farmer to be Certified Organic, stringent records are kept and monitored along the way by USDA NOP approved certifying agencies. This rarely recognized cost ranges from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars per year for a Farmer to maintain certification.
With anticipation, all of this will lead to a healthy crop, so that the harvesters and the box manufactures and the sticker makers and the pallet providers are all able to build their businesses as well. Then of course there are the jobs for the tractor & fuel suppliers; and then for the buyers & the sellers & the coolers & the truckers & the forklift drivers and for all of the people who have to track all that stuff as well. Only then does it make it to the retail store and to those that then rack it and stack and ring it up & take it out to your car...WHEW!
